Landlord's comment: The apartment is nestled in a Parisian passageway located in the city center between the old opera house, the Bourse and the Louvre.
The 'passage' is on the historical register of Paris and was home to many writers such as Céline, who used to live at #64/67. This type of woodframe passageways appeared in the 18th century, and the bourgeoisie of the time found theaters, bookstalls, printers and other entertainment venues there. The 'passage Choiseul' is now made up of shopping galleries where bankers from nearby headquarters meet for lunch. Regarding the apartment, the wooden structure of the passage is
apparent, with exposed beams partitioning the kitchen-living room from the dressing room equipped with a fireplace in an original décor reminiscent of the 80's.
